Malakhi Junction
The Malakhi Junction, also known as Qastina for the Arab village which once stood there, is a major road junction in Israel, between Highway 40 and 3. It is located on the 37th kilometer of Highway 3. Like most junctions in Israel, it serves as a major transportation hub and has a trempiada, or hitchhiking stand. Due to its proximity to Kiryat Malakhi, it is also sometimes considered Kiryat Malakhi's central bus station, operated by the Be'er Tuvia Regional Council.

Kfar HaRif
Kfar HaRif is a moshav on the border of the Shfela and the Coastal Plain in south-central Israel. It is the largest community in the Yoav Regional Council. It is about one km southeast of Masmiya junction and about 2 km northeast of Kiryat Malakhi. East of the moshav flows HaRif creek, named after the community. Nearby are some wells. The moshav was founded at the end of 1956 by immigrants to Israel from Morocco. Afterward, immigrants joined from many countries in Eastern Europe.

Be'er Tuvia Regional Council, is a regional council in the southern Coastal Plain region in Israel. It borders Yoav and Nahal Sorek regional councils in the east; Hof Ashkelon regional council, the Mediterranean Sea, the city of Ashdod and Gan Yavne local council in the west; Gederot, Hevel Yavne regional councils and Gedera, Bnei Aish local councils in the north; Shafir regional council in the south. The town of Kiryat Malakhi is enclaved in the middle.
