Kfar Menahem is a kibbutz in Israel located about 7 km east of Kiryat Malakhi in south-central Israel. It falls under the jurisdiction of Yoav Regional Council. Kfar HaRif

Kfar HaRif is a moshav on the border of the Shfela and the Coastal Plain in south-central Israel. It is the largest community in the Yoav Regional Council. It is about one km southeast of Masmiya junction and about 2 km northeast of Kiryat Malakhi. East of the moshav flows HaRif creek, named after the community. Nearby are some wells. The moshav was founded at the end of 1956 by immigrants to Israel from Morocco. Afterward, immigrants joined from many countries in Eastern Europe.

Gath (city)

Gath, Gat, or Geth, often referred to as Gath of the Philistines, was one of the five Philistine city-states, established in northwestern Philistia. According to the Bible, the king of the city was Achish, in the times of Saul, David, and Solomon. It is not certain whether this refers to two or more kings of the name 'Achish' or not. Gath was also the home city of Goliath and his brothers, as well as of Itai and his 600 soldiers who aided David in his exile from Absalom.
