Aitanite
Aitanite/ Aitaneet is a village in Lebanon, in the West Beqaa region. Aitanit counted 880 residents (estimation). In the last municipal Lebanese elections of 2004, its accounted 3263 resgitered voters of which 1784 actual voters. However, if the total number of Aitanite citizens who have emigrated were to be added, then the figure would be nearer to around 20,000. Aitanite is a popular summer destination for many Lebanese living abroad whose families originated from this area.

Lake Qaraoun
Lake Qaraoun is an artificial lake or reservoir located in the southern region of the Beqaa Valley, Lebanon. It was created near Qaraoun village in 1959 by building a 61-metre-high concrete-faced rockfill dam (the largest dam in Lebanon) in the middle reaches of the Litani River (longest river in Lebanon). The reservoir has been used for hydropower generation, domestic water supply, and for irrigation of 27,500 hectares .

Qaraoun
Qaraoun is a Lebanese village, 85 km from Beirut, known for its Lake Qaraoun in the Beqaa Valley formed by the El Wauroun Dam built in 1959. It is an ecologically fragile zone in the Rashaya District south of the Beqaa Governorate. The village lies about 2600 feet above sea level. The dam is located nearby on the Litani River.

Wadi al-Taym
Wadi al-Taym, also transliterated as Wadi el-Taym is a wadi (dry river) that forms a large fertile valley in southern Lebanon, near Hasbaya on the western slopes of Mount Hermon. It adjoins the Beqaa valley running north to south towards the Jordan valley where it meets the northwest corner of Lake Huleh. Watered by the Hasbani river, the low hills of Wadi al-Taym are covered with rows of silver-green olive trees with the population in the area being predominantly Druze.
