Nevėžis River

Nevėžis River is the sixth longest river in Lithuania and one of the main tributaries of the Neman River. Its length is 209 km, and it flows only within the geographical confines of Lithuania. It is the second longest river in Lithuania, after the Šventoji River, that flows exclusively within its borders.

Puntukas

Puntukas is the second-largest boulder in Lithuania. It is situated some 5 kilometres south of Anykščiai on the left bank of the Šventoji River. It was believed to be the largest stone in Lithuania until the discovery of Barstyčiai stone in the Skuodas district in 1957. Puntukas is a glacial erratic—it was brought by glaciers during the last glacial period (18th–12th millennium BC) probably from Finland.

Anykšta

Anykšta is a river of Anykščiai district municipality, Utena County, northeastern Lithuania. It flows for 13.8 kilometres and has a basin area of 144.9 km². It is a tributary of the Šventoji River.

Anykščiai Church

Church of Apostle Evangelist St. Matthew in Anykščiai (Lithuanian: Anykščių Šv. apaštalo evangelisto Mato bažnyčia) is a red brick Neo-Gothic church in Anykščiai, Lithuania. The Church is situated on the right bank of the Šventoji River. The twin spires of the church, each 79 metres in height, make the church the tallest in Lithuania. The brightly colored stained glass windows were the creation of Anortė Mackelaitė, the well known stain glass artist of Lithuania, between 1971 and 1986.

Virinta
