Prždevo
Prždevo is a mixed ethnic Macedonian and Roma village with over 200 residents, located in the Republic of Macedonia. It had nearly 500 residents just 15 years ago, but many moved to larger areas. Even so, the village boasts a pepper factory and a winery, scheduled to open in 2008. It is the only village in the municipality with ethnic Roma families, which account for about 20% of the population. It has a very old church, and is the crossroads for several other villages to the east and south.

Barovo
Barovo is in the southern region of the Demir Kapija municipality. It is a point on many searchable satellite or internet maps. Barovo is settled in a wooded area, rather isolated on a road to the south of the town of Demir Kapija past the church. Barovo is the second inhabited village on this road to Konopiste. The village church, built in 1908 unfortunately has fallen due to lack of inhabitants to care for it.

Besvica
Besvica is in the southeast of the Republic of Macedonia. It is an isolated village in the southern part of the Demir Kapija Municipality. The road from the Demir Kapija church south to the village of Konopiste was part of a system of roads in the days of the Turkish and improved by the French after World War I. Besvica is the first village past Demir Kapija on this road to Konopiste and the Kozuf mountain.

Strmaševo
Strmaševo is an abandoned village at the southernmost part of the municipality of Demir Kapija. It was equal in size and close to Dračevica-DK. After the Bulgarians raided the village during World War I, the residents moved to Dračevica-DK as a safe haven. All that is left of this village are foundations of some houses. The church and school were also destroyed.

Bistrenci
Bistrenci is one of the larger villages in Demir Kapija municipality. Its population is mixed among Turks, ethnic Macedonians, Albanian, and Vlach. It has been has its roots in the Ottoman period until the Slovenes came to harvest grapes. The Catholic church was then built. Many Turkish stayed and still live in the village to this day. The Slovenes stayed until World War II, and the Macedonians inhabited the village afterwards and erected an Orthodox community.
