Black Stone, Jablanica

Black Stone (Albanian: Guri i Zi; Macedonian: Црн Камен, Crn Kamen) is the highest peak of Jablanica Mountain located both in Albania and the Republic of Macedonia. Black Stone reaches a height of 2,257 m, being not many metres higher than other peaks of Jablanica.

Brčevo

Brčevo is a small village located near Struga, in the Struga municipality in the western region of the Republic of Macedonia. The village is situated 921 m above sea level and has a population of 20. The village was once a thriving community but has in the last 30 years lost the majority of its population to the commercial centres around it, such as Struga.

2007 Gumball 3000 accident

The Gumball 3000 Rally of 2007 ended early as the result a traffic accident on May 2, 2007, in which two people were killed. The accident involved the TechArt Porsche 997 Turbo of Nick Morley and Matthew McConville and the Volkswagen Golf of Vladislav and Margarita Cepunjovski. The accident resulted in the immediate death of Mr. Cepunjovski, while his wife died two days later as a result of the injuries from the crash.
