Pantai Remis [班台 班台] is a coastal town in Manjung, Perak, Malaysia. It is situated in between Simpang (near Taiping) and Sitiawan. Pantai Remis is a commercial district that serves as the heartland for the surrounding towns as far north as Terong on Highway A101, to the south to Segari on Highway 60; to the south-east to Kampong Baru Sungai Batu, Kampong Batu Dua Belas, Kampong Melayu and Changkat Keruing on Highway A12.

The Pantai Remis landslide was a rock fall and flood that occurred on 21 October 1993, near Pantai Remis in Perak, Malaysia. The landslide took place in an abandoned open cast tin mine close to the coast. This area of Malaysia is well known for its tin mining industry. Video footage shows the rapid collapse of the working face closest the sea, allowing complete flooding of the mine and forming a new cove measuring approximately 0.5 by 0.5 km.

Terong
Terong is a small town in Perak, Malaysia. The town is located between Changkat Jering and Pantai Remis. It is famous for the quality of its water and the presence of a waterfall. Tin was also mined there until 1980. It had Chinese, Malay and Tamil primary schools but the numbers have dwindled considerably. The village is surrounded by plantations of rubber and palm oil trees.
