Rodney District

Rodney District Name Rodney District Population 100,000 (June 2012 estimate) Land area 2,427.01 km² (937.07 sq mi) Extent Muriwai to Hibiscus Coast; south to Helensville Rodney District was a local government area in the northernmost part of New Zealand's Auckland Region from 1989 to 2010. It was created from the amalgamation of Helensville Borough and Rodney County in 1989. The seat of the district council was at Orewa, and the district included Kawau Island.

Rodney Ward </tr> Population 57,100 (June 2012 estimate) Extent Muriwai Beach to the Kowhai Coast; Helensville and Kumeu to Wellsford and Kawau Island Rodney Ward is a local government area in the northernmost part of New Zealand's Auckland Region, created along with the Auckland Council in 2010. The area was previously part of the Rodney District; it does not include the Hibiscus Coast, which is now in the Albany ward.

The Tahekeroa River is a river of the Auckland Region of New Zealand's North Island. It flows generally southwest to reach the Makarau River eight kilometres north of Kaukapakapa.

The Makarau River is a river of the Auckland Region of New Zealand's North Island. The river rises some 10 kilometres north of Kaukapakapa, flowing west before entering the south of the Kaipara Harbour.

Woodcocks, New Zealand

Woodcocks is a locality 15 km west of Warkworth in the Rodney District of New Zealand. It was named in honour of the Woodcock family who settled there around 1895. Woodcocks train station was located on the North Auckland Line and provided for livestock and general freight, as well as passengers. It was opened in 1904 and closed in 1964, with all traffic redirected to Kaipara Flats station, 5 km further north.
