The Mangorewa River is a river of the Bay of Plenty Region of New Zealand's North Island. It flows northeast from its sources on the Mamaku Plateau northwest of Lake Rotorua, reaching the Kaituna River close to the town of Paengaroa.

Maketu

It is located on Okurei point and has an estuary from which the Kaituna River used to flow out of, it is also adjacent to Newdicks Beach located on the south eastern side of Okurei point. Kaituna River
The Kaituna River is located in the Bay of Plenty region of the North Island of New Zealand. It is the outflow from Lakes Rotorua and Rotoiti, and flows northwards for 45 kilometres, emptying into the Bay of Plenty near Te Puke. It was the subject of a claim concerning the effluent flowing down the river from Lake Rotorua, which resulted in movement to a land treatment system.

Pukehina Beach
Pukehina Beach is a township located in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, which consists of a white sandy beach, an estuary, farms and residential houses. Activities that take place there are surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, boating and farming. There is a campground located at the south-eastern end of the beach. Further to the south-east there is an extensive area of Māori land, which is not part of Pukehina Beach itself.

Newdicks Beach
Newdicks Beach is located on the southeastern side of Okurei Point (Town point) in the Bay of Plenty in the North Island of New Zealand. The beach is approximately 2 km long and is a predominantly sandy beach. The sand is predominantly quartz giving it a light coloured appearance. The occasional black patches of sand are due to the mineral titanomagnitite which comes from andesitic volcanoes.
