Mohaka River

The Mohaka River is a river in the northern Hawke's Bay region of the eastern North Island of New Zealand. It flows east-southeast for 70 kilometres from the Ahimanawa Range, before flowing into Hawke Bay close to the settlement of Mohaka, 20 kilometres southwest of Wairoa. New Zealand's highest railway bridge, the trestle-constructed Mohaka Viaduct on the Palmerston North - Gisborne Line crosses the Mohaka River close to the small settlement of Raupunga.

Raupunga

Raupunga is a small settlement in the northern Hawke's Bay Region of New Zealand's eastern North Island. It is located close to the country's highest railway bridge, the Mohaka Viaduct, which crosses the Mohaka River.

Waihua River

The Waihua River is a river of the northern Hawke's Bay Region of New Zealand's North Island. Its course roughly parallels that of its northern neighbour, the Waiau River. The Waihua rises in rough hill country north of Raupunga, flowing initially east before turning southeast to reach Hawke Bay 15 kilometres west of Wairoa.
