Waimea River (Tasman)
The Waimea River is located in the north of the South Island of New Zealand. It is formed from the confluence of the Wairoa River and the Wai-iti River, which meet near Brightwater, The combined waters flow into Tasman Bay to the northwest of Richmond, opposite Rabbit Island.

Wai-iti River
The Wai-iti River is located in the north of the South Island of New Zealand. It flows northeast for 45 kilometres before combining with the Wairoa River to form the Waimea River. This flows into the southern end of Tasman Bay near Richmond.

Rabbit Island, New Zealand
Rabbit Island is the name of several different islands off the New Zealand coast. The largest and best-known Rabbit Island lies across the southernmost part of Tasman Bay, at the top of New Zealand's South Island. The long narrow island runs east-west for 8 kilometres, and covers 15 km . It lies opposite the mouth of the Waimea River, 7 kilometres to the west of Richmond and was formed about 7000 years ago as several barrier islands accumulated near the mouth of the Waimea River.

Moutere Inn
The Moutere Inn is located in Upper Moutere in the Tasman District of New Zealand. It is New Zealand's oldest pub to remain operating in its original building. While there are a couple of older licenses still operating, none of them are operating from either their original location or building. The Moutere Inn was established in 1850 by Cordt Bennseman, a German immigrant.
