Fjellstrand, Norway

Fjellstrand is a village in Nesodden municipality, Akershus, Norway. The population was 832 as at 2005. A hairdresser and a grocery store can be found near the central bus stop of Fjellstrand. A relatively rocky beach at the ironically named Paradise Bay is one of the few tourist attractions in this area. Fjellstrand reached its peak in the 1920s, when it was the biggest rural district on the Nesodden peninsula, and beloved as a cabin area for the wealthy white collar workers of western Oslo.

Bjørnemyr

Bjørnemyr is a Norwegian village located on the west coast of the municipality of Nesodden. The Bjørnemyr Centre contains a grocery store, a hairdresser and spa, and a doctor's office. Recently a small mall was built not far from the Bjørnemyr Centre, which included a grocery store, a small café, a health store, and cutlery. The Sunnaas Hospital lies near Bjørnemyr. Bjørnemyr has an elementary school and a kindergarten situated right next to each other.

Nesoddtangen

Nesoddtangen is a village in, and the administrative centre of Nesodden in Akershus, Norway. It had 11,795 residents in 2011; about two thirds of the municipality's population. It's located some 4 miles (7 kilometers) south west of Oslo, and passenger ferry is the most used commuting transportation. Of the working population in Nesoddtangen, more than 90% work in Oslo.
