Fyksesund Bridge

Fyksesund Bridge is a suspension road bridge that spans over Fyksesund on the road between Øystese and Ålvik in Hardanger, Norway. The bridge is 344 meters long, and the largest span is 230 meter. The bridge was opened on 9 October 1937 by the Norwegian crown prince Olav.

Hardanger

Hardanger is a traditional district in the western part of Norway, dominated by the Hardangerfjord. It consists of the municipalities of Odda, Ullensvang, Eidfjord, Ulvik, Granvin, Kvam and Jondal, and is located inside the county of Hordaland. In the early Viking Age, before Harald Fairhair, Hardanger was a petty kingdom with its capital at Kinsarvik.
