Lake Balinsasayao

Lake Balinsasayao is one of two small but deep crater lakes rising 1,000 feet above sea level located 12 km west of the town of Sibulan in the province of Negros Oriental, Philippines. It lies northwest of a narrow mountain ridge, situated in a caldera between four mountains, Mount Mahungot to the south, Mount Kalbasan to the north, Mount Balinsasayao to the east and Guintabon Dome to the west. The other lake, Lake Danao, is situated on the southeast.

Lake Danao (Negros)

Lake Danao is the smaller of the two lakes located in Balinsasayao Twin Lakes Natural Park in the southern part of Negros Oriental, Philippines; the other being Lake Balinsasayao. The lakes and its surrounding were designated as a protected area by Proclamation No. 414 on November 21, 2000 categorized as a Natural Park covering about 8,016 hectares . The lake itself has about 28 hectares surface area.

Sibulan Airport

Sibulan Airport, also known as Dumaguete Airport, is an airport serving the general area of Dumaguete City, located in the province of Negros Oriental in the Philippines. The airport is located in the municipality of Sibulan, near the border with Dumaguete City, and as such takes its name from its location.

Lo-oc, Malabuyoc, Cebu

Lo-oc (also called Looc, or Look), is one of the barrios or barangay of the municipality of Malabuyoc, province of Cebu, Philippines. The barrio center is located about 4 kilometers south of Malabuyoc town center. Lo-oc is a coastal area, with mountain ranges a few hundred meters from the shore.

Silliman University

Silliman University (also referred to as Silliman or SU) is a private research university in Dumaguete, Philippines. Established in 1901 as Silliman Institute by the Presbyterian Board of Foreign Missions, it is the first American private university in the country. The university is named after Dr. Horace Brinsmade Silliman, a retired businessman and philanthropist from Cohoes, New York who gave the initial sum of $10,000 to start the school.
