Medical University of Silesia
The Medical University of Silesia (SUM) is located in Katowice, Poland. Established on March 20, 1948, it is reportedly the largest Medical school in Poland. Founded in 1948 at nearby Rokitnica Bytomska and named "Medical Academy", it received its current name in 1949 and moved to Katowice in 1971.
