Polańczyk is a village in Lesko County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. It lies in, and serves as the seat of, the administrative district of Gmina Solina. Polańczyk lies approximately 4 kilometres south-west of Solina, 14 km south-east of Lesko, and 80 km south of the regional capital Rzeszów. In 2002 the village had a population of 830. It was first mentioned in 1580. Its name comes from the West Slavic word polana, meaning "glade".

Lake Solina
Lake Solina is an artificial lake in the Bieszczady Mountains region, more precisely in Lesko County of the Subcarpathian Voivodship of Poland. Its coordinates are {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:49|22|27|N|22|27|8|E|type:waterbody_region:PL | |name= }}. The lake was created in 1968 by the construction of the Solina Dam on the San River. It has an area of 22 square kilometres and contains 472 million cubic meters of water, making it Poland's largest artificial lake.
