Castra of Gilău
The castra of Gilău was a fort in the Roman province of Dacia. Traces of the castra built in the 2nd century AD can be identified at the confluence of the rivers Someșul Mic and Căpuş in the Bánffy Castle's park at Gilău. The fort and its vicus were both abandoned in the 3rd century.

Mănăștur

During Hungarian administration (1941-1944), Mănăștur was situated 1km near the border with Kingdom of Romania, situated in Feleacu. The district was changed during Nicolae Ceauşescu's systematisation programme on the site of an older settlement. Its population as of 2007 is approximately 126,600. It is home to the Cluj-Napoca Calvaria Church, a Benedictine abbey built in the 9th-10th centuries.
