Fâstâci Monastery

Fâstâci Monastery (Mănăstirea Fâstâci) is a monastery in Fâstâci Village, Cozmeşti Commune, Vaslui County. The monastery founded by the landowners Palade during the 17th century was rebuilt by the Lord Mihai Racoviţă Cehan during the 18th century and it has extended also during the 19th century. In 1711, it was dedicated to the Frumoasa Monastery from Iasi (branch of the "Saint Ecaterina" Monastery from the Sinai mountain still the 16th century.

2009 Romanian bus–train collision

The 2009 Romanian bus–train collision occurred on August 14, 2009 at 14:10 local time (UTC+3) when at least 14 people died after a collision between a bus and a train in Scânteia, Iaşi County, Romania on County Road 248C. The death toll was initially reported as 10. It was the worst accident in Romania in fifteen years.

Stadionul Municipal (Vaslui)

Municipal Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Vaslui, Romania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FC Vaslui. The stadium has 9,240 seats, and it is covered by natural grass. The floodlighting system, with a density of 2000 lux, has been inaugurated in 2008.
