Attacking Cavalryman Statue

The Attacking Cavalryman Statue in Iaşi, Romania (Romanian: Statuia Cavaleristului în atac; also known as the Monument to the Heroes of the 2nd Cavalry Division or The Prunaru Charge) is a bronze monument executed by sculptor Ioan C. Dimitriu-Bârlad and unvelied in 1927. One of the city's signature monuments, it is located in front of the SuperCopou store, across the street from the main entrance to Copou Garden.

Alexandru Ioan Cuza University

The Alexandru Ioan Cuza University is a public university located in Iaşi, Romania. The University of Iaşi, as it was named at first, is the oldest higher education institution in Romania, founded one year after the establishment of the Romanian state, by an 1860 decree of Prince Alexandru Ioan Cuza, under whom the former Academia Mihăileană was converted to a university.

Stadionul Emil Alexandrescu

Emil Alexandrescu Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Copou, Iaşi, Romania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home field of CSMS Iaşi. The stadium is named after the former Politehnica Iaşi player and Iaşi Mayor, Emil Alexandrescu, who died in 1991. Its original capacity was 12,500 seats but after plastic seats were mounted the capacity was reduced to 11,390 seats.
