Serebryanye Prudy (Russian: Сере́бряные Пруды́, lit. Silver Ponds) is an urban locality and the administrative center of Serebryano-Prudsky District of Moscow Oblast, Russia, located on the Osyotr River. Among the district centers of Moscow Oblast, it is the southernmost, and the farthest from Moscow. Population: 9,705; 8,969; 8,977. Serebryanye Prudy stands on the M6 highway and the Moscow–Volgograd railway. Serebryanye Prudy was first mentioned in a chronicle in 1571.

Mikhaylov is a town and the administrative center of Mikhaylovsky District of Ryazan Oblast, Russia, located on the Pronya River, 68 kilometers southwest of Ryazan. Population: 11,784; 13,295; 15,302. Mikhaylov was first mentioned in 1546 among other fortified towns in the periphery of the Muscovite state. It was inhabited by the Streltsy, cannonmakers, and carpenters, who formed slobodas around the town. In 1618, Mikhaylov withstood a ten-day siege by the Polish army.
