Mikhaylov, Ryazan Oblast
Mikhaylov is a town and the administrative center of Mikhaylovsky District of Ryazan Oblast, Russia, located on the Pronya River, 68 kilometers southwest of Ryazan. Population: 11,784; 13,295; 15,302. Mikhaylov was first mentioned in 1546 among other fortified towns in the periphery of the Muscovite state.
