Lipe (Smederevo)
Lipe is a village in eastern Serbia, in the municipality of Smederevo. It’s situated 8km from Smederevo, between two great rivers: Danube and Great Morava. Covering about 16km of the area it’s among the largest villages in the municipality. According to the latest census it holds about 1,200 households and around 4000 residents. Legend has it that village Lipe had received its name a few thousand years back.
