Smederevo Fortress
Smederevo Fortress (Serbian: Cмeдepeвcκa твpђaвa, Smederevska tvrđava), in Smederevo, Serbia, was a medieval fortified city and temporary capital of Serbia in the Middle Ages. It was built between 1427 and 1430, on the order of Despot Đurađ Branković, the ruler of the Serbian Despotate. It was further fortified by the Ottoman Empire, that had taken the city, in the end of the century. Smederevo is the largest medieval lowland type of fortresses in Europe.

Kostolac Airport
Kostolac Airport is situated on the bank of the Danube river, built in 1998 on the power plant's reclaimed former ash yard. It is two kilometres from the Kostolac town centre and also near the town of Požarevac. Landing at Kostolac Airport is unique, because the way of landing is over the Danube water plane, which is similar to landing on an aircraft carrier. There is an international air show every August. The Airport is close to the ancient Roman city of Viminacium.

Smederevo Airport (Serbian: Аеродром Смедерево, Aerodrom Smederevo) is an airport in Serbia located in the vicinity of the town of Smederevo (four kilometres south-east of the centre). Activities include sport and training flights of aircraft and gliders, agricultural airplanes, helicopters, and parachuting. There is a concrete apron of 20x40 metres.
