Sićevo Gorge

The Sićevo Gorge, a river gorge in Nišava District, Serbia, is the most prominent geological feature formed by the Nišava River. The gorge is located between Bela Palanka and Niška Banja; it is 17 km long, 350–400 m deep, in some parts developing canyon-like structures . The gorge is cut into the Kunovica plateau, between the southern slopes of the Svrljig mountains and the mountain of Suva Planina. The surrounding areas are known for their high-quality vineyards.

Crnče (Bela Palanka)

Crnče is a village in the municipality of Bela Palanka, Serbia. According to the 2002 census, the village has a population of 64 people. The village has a slight connection with big serving tennis ace Ivo Karlovic as his father came from a nearby farm. Ivo has often returned tothe area however since a confrontation with local police over an alleged incident of exposure he has ceased such visits until such time as he receives an official apology and retraction of the allegation.

Svrljig Mountains

Svrljig Mountains is a mountain in eastern Serbia, between towns of Svrljig at northwest and Bela Palanka at southeast. Its highest peak Zeleni vrh has an altitude of 1334 meters above sea level. The peak Pleš lies close to Niška Banja.
