Všešportový areál

All sports complex (Všešportový areál in Slovak) is a multi-purpose stadium in Košice, Slovakia that was opened by match against ZVL Žilina on 29 February 1976. The facility is currently not used. The stadium was primarily used for football matches and holds 30,312 spectators. The stadium was also six times home ground for the Czechoslovakia national football team and four times for Slovakia. VSS Košice, later renamed to ZŤS and 1. FC Košice, there played until 1997.

Steel Aréna

Steel Aréna – Košický štadión L. Trojáka is the new home arena of the ice hockey club HC Košice. Steel Arena opened on February 24, 2006. Its capacity is 8,343 seats and was named in honour of the general sponsor of the club – the U. S. Steel Košice (a member of the United States Steel Corporation) and also in honour of Ladislav Troják, a Košice-born hockey player who was the first Slovak to win the World Championship with the Czechoslovakian national team.

Košice-okolie District

Košice–okolie District (okres Košice–okolie; Hungarian: Kassa-vidéki járás) is a district in the Košice Region of eastern Slovakia around the city of Košice, which isn't part of the district. Until 1918, the district was mostly part of the county of Kingdom of Hungary of Abov-Turňa, apart from a small area in the north which formed part of the county of Šariš. According to one study on transfrontier co-operation, ethnic Hungarians make up 16.4% of the district's population.

The Greek Catholic Cathedral Church of Virgin Mary's Birth (Slovak: Gréckokatolícky katedrálny chrám Narodenia presvätej Bohorodičky) is located at Moyzesova Street in the historic centre of Košice, Slovakia. It is the cathedral of the Eparchy of Košice. Greek Catholics started to settle in Košice in the 17th century. As late as 1852 their bishop established a chapel in Košice. Till then, the divine services were served in the Franciscan Church, and rarely at the Premonstrates or in St.
