Hnilec (river)

The Hnilec, German: Göllnitz) is a river in Slovakia. Its source is located below the Kráľova hola hill. It flows into the Hornád river near Margecany. The Palcmanská Maša dam is located on the river near Dobšiná. Places of interest along the river include the Dobšinská Ice Cave and the Slovak Paradise.

Kojšov

Kojšov is a village and municipality in the Gelnica District in the Košice Region of eastern Slovakia. In 2011 had total municipality a population of 736 inhabitants. Near Kojšov are located natural sightseeings Kojšovská Hoľa /hill/ and Folkmarská Skala /stone sculpture/, as well as Lukáčova Jaskyňa/cave/. The village and the surroundings has a lot of holiday homes where people from Košice go at the weekends and relax.

Gelnica District

Gelnica District (Slovak: okres Gelnica is a district in the Košice Region of eastern Slovakia. It was established in 1923. During 1960–1996 was the district a part of Spišská Nová Ves District. In 1996 was Gelnica District established in its present borders. It is the district with the highest percentage of forest area, 74,6% in Slovakia. The center is its biggest town Gelnica.
