Kozie chrbty
The Kozie chrbty or Kecske-hát (In Slovak, literally "goat ridges") are a mountainous area in Slovakia, part of the Fatra-Tatra Area of the Inner Western Carpathians, where uranium ore may be found. The place was previously known as Vikartovský ridge. The Kozie chrbty is located between the High Tatras and the Low Tatras, south and west of Poprad. They are drained by the river Váh to the west, and the rivers Hornád and Poprad to the east.

Važecká Cave
Važecká Cave is a stalactite cave near the village of Važec in northern Slovakia. It lies at an altitude of 748 metres, in the Liptov Basin near the Biely Váh River, on the northern edge of the Low Tatra mountain range. The cave was discovered in 1922. With the length of 530 m, 230 m are open to the public. Although it is one of the shorter caves, it is known for its rich stalactite decoration, as well as for its cave fauna.

It serves the settlement of Štrbské Pleso, which is part of the village of Štrba, in the Prešov Region, northeastern Slovakia. Opened in 1970, the station is the northwestern terminus of the main line operated by the metre gauge Tatra Electric Railway (TEŽ), and the mountain terminus of the Štrbské Pleso – Štrba rack railway, another metre gauge line.
