Umvoti Local Municipality is an administrative area in the Umzinyathi District of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. The municipality is named after the Umvoti River, which runs from the west to the east towards the Indian Ocean. The municipality is situated nearer the mouth of the river. Craigie Burn Dam

Craigie Burn Dam is a arch/earth-fill type dam located on the Mnyamvubu River, near Greytown, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It was established in 1963 and its primary purpose is for irrigation usage. Recent assessments however, assign a significant hazard potential to the dam/reservoir which in turn makes the intended use questionable.
