Drakensberg Boys' Choir School
Drakensberg Boys Choir School is a school near the small town of Winterton, in the heart of the Drakensberg mountain range in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The school educates the members of Drakensberg Boys Choir. It was founded in 1967 and claims to be the only choir school in Africa. Enrollment is approximately 100 boys aged 9 to 15. The school has a 600-seat auditorium constructed in 1995 and holds weekly concerts.

Drakensberg hiking
Hiking in the Natal Drakensberg is a popular activity for outdoor South Africans. The escarpment allows one to hike on a cliff of roughly 1000m high that stretches for 240 km from Sentinel Buttress in the North to Bushman's Neck in the South. Hiking is however not recommended for inexperienced hikers as conditions can change quickly and harsh weather can occur for extended periods. KZN Wildlife distributes 6 1:50,000 maps that can be used while hiking in the Drakensberg.

Bloukrans River (KwaZulu-Natal)
The Bloukrans River (KwaZulu-Natal) originates in the Emangosini foothills of the Njesuthi Drakensberg, in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. It proceeds in a north-easterly direction, passing the village of Frere, until it joins the Tugela River. The river and its tributaries are mostly undammed, though limited irrigation occurs from its upper reaches. Its original Dutch name Blaauwekrans referred to bluish cliff faces present in the area.
