Idlib

Idlib is a city in northwestern Syria, capital of the Idlib Governorate, and 59 kilometers west of Aleppo. It has an elevation of nearly 500 meters above sea level. In the 2004 census by the Central Bureau of Statistics, Idlib had a population of 98,791 (2004 census). The inhabitants are overwhelmingly Sunni Muslims, although there is a significant Christian minority. Karbeyaz

Karbeyaz is a town in Altınözü district of Hatay Province, Turkey. Karbeyaz is situated close to Syrian border at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:36|00|N|36|16|E||| | |name= }}. The distance to Altınözü is 19 kilometres and to Antakya (central city of the province) is 45 kilometres . The population of the town is 1584 as of 2010. The town was founded by the soldiers in the army of Ottoman sultan Selim I during his return from Egyptian campaign in 1517.
