Tell Tweini

Tell Tweini is an archaeological site located 1 kilometers east of the modern city of Jableh, Syria. It is situated within the coastal plain of Jebleh within short distance of two other main archaeological sites: Tell Sukas (5 km) and Tell Siyannu (6 km). As a tell, the site is the result of centuries of habitation on the same place, which resulted in a rising surface.

Al-Baath Stadium

Al-Baath Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in Jableh, Syria. It is currently used mostly for football matches. It serves as a home ground of Jableh SC. The stadium holds 10,000 spectators. The venue was opened in 1990 and completely renovated between 2004-2006.

An-Nusayriyah Mountains

The an-Nusayriyah Mountains, also known as al-Alawiyin Mountains (جبال العلويين / Jibāl al-‘Alawīyin)—both names referring to the Alawi sect which has traditionally lived there—or under their Syrian official name of Coastal Mountain Range (سلسلة الجبال الساحلية / Silsilat al-Jibāl al-Sāḥiliyah), are a mountain range in northwestern Syria running north-south, parallel to the coastal plain. Classically they were known as the Bargylus and under the Hashashins were known as the Jabal Bahra.

Bourzey castle

Bourzey castle is called also Mirza castle, (Arabic قلعة ميرزا). It is located at the border of Syria coastal mountains and Ghab valley, 25 km away from Jeser Alshghur, at altitude 450 m. The inscriptions and mentioning of the castle relate it to the Byzantine era in 11-th century. Architecturally it has triangle shape, the western façade is 175 m, the eastern is 50 m. The southern and eastern façades are adjacent to deep gorges, but the western façade is the least steep.
