Tell Tweini

It is situated within the coastal plain of Jebleh within short distance of two other main archaeological sites: Tell Sukas (5 km) and Tell Siyannu (6 km). An-Nusayriyah Mountains

The an-Nusayriyah Mountains, also known as al-Alawiyin Mountains (جبال العلويين / Jibāl al-‘Alawīyin)—both names referring to the Alawi sect which has traditionally lived there—or under their Syrian official name of Coastal Mountain Range (سلسلة الجبال الساحلية / Silsilat al-Jibāl al-Sāḥiliyah), are a mountain range in northwestern Syria running north-south, parallel to the coastal plain. Classically they were known as the Bargylus and under the Hashashins were known as the Jabal Bahra.
