Hisor District

Hisor District (also transliterated as Hissar, Gissar) or Nohiyai Hisor is a district in the Region of Republican Subordination, in Tajikistan, located west of the capital Dushanbe, between Varzob District in the east and Shahrinaw District in the west. Its capital Hisor (Gissar) is a town of 50,000 people about 10 km west of Dushanbe, at the center of the fertile Gissar Valley.

Tajik Aluminium Company

The Tajik Aluminium Company (Tajik: Ширкати Алюминийи Тоҷик; Russian: Таджикская алюминиевая компания), abbreviated as TALCO headquartered in Tursunzoda, Tajikistan, runs the largest aluminum manufacturing plant in Central Asia, and is Tajikistan's chief industrial asset. The country has no native aluminum ore, so the raw material for the plant has to be imported. Construction of the plant proper began in 1972, and the first pouring of aluminum took place on 31 March 1975.

Stadium Metallurg 1st District

Stadium Metallurg is a multi-use stadium in Tursunzoda, Tajikistan. It is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as the home of Regar-TadAZ Tursunzoda of the Tajik League. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000 people.
