Vahdat

Vahdat (also Vakhdat, meaning unity in Persian) is a city in western Tajikistan, just 10 km east of Dushanbe. In the last century the city has been renamed several times. Kafirnahan (Persian for "a place where unbelievers hide", کافرنهان). The city was known as Yangi-Bazar until 1936, when it was renamed Ordzhonikidzeabad in honor of Georgian communist Grigoriy Ordzhonikidze. In 1992 after Tajikistan became independent the city was renamed Kofarnihon and in 2003 it was renamed Vahdat.

Simiganj

Simiganj (or Simiganch) is a village in Tajikistan, located at 38.6525 N 69.01 E. It is part of the town Varzob, Region of Republican Subordination (Ноҳияҳои тобеи ҷумҳурӣ - Nokhiyakhoi tobei jumkhurī). The river flowing through the town is also named Simiganj.

Agricultural University of Tajikistan

Tajik Agrarian University (TAU) "named after Shirinsho Shotemur" (Донишгоҳи аграрии Тоҹикистон) is a university in Tajikistan. It is located in Dushanbe. In 1931, the Central Asian Fruit-and-Vegetable Institute was founded in the city of Khujand. In 1934 the institute was reorganized and renamed into the Tajik Agricultural Institute. In 1992, the institute was reorganized into Tajik Agrarian University.
