Faizobod District
Faizobod District or Nohiyai Faizobod is a small district in the Region of Republican Subordination in Tajikistan, about 60 km east of Dushanbe. It borders on Vahdat District from the west and the north, the Roghun District from the east, and the Khatlon Province from the south. Its capital is Faizobod.

Ramit State Nature Reserve
Ramit State Nature Reserve is situated in Tajikistan north east of Dushanbe. It consist of 16139 ha mountains and forests. The snow leopard is found in the reserve. Bukharan markhors (Capra falconeri heptneri) are kept in enclosures and released in the wild.

Vahdat
Vahdat (also Vakhdat, meaning unity in Persian) is a city in western Tajikistan, just 10 km east of Dushanbe. In the last century the city has been renamed several times. Kafirnahan (Persian for "a place where unbelievers hide", کافرنهان). The city was known as Yangi-Bazar until 1936, when it was renamed Ordzhonikidzeabad in honor of Georgian communist Grigoriy Ordzhonikidze. In 1992 after Tajikistan became independent the city was renamed Kofarnihon and in 2003 it was renamed Vahdat.
