Hat Yai International Airport

Hat Yai International Airport is the major southern hub airport in Thailand, located near the city of Hat Yai. It is under the management of Airports of Thailand, PCL. It is also an important airport for Muslims on the pilgrimage to Mecca. Annually, more than 1,500,000 passengers, 9,500 flights and 12,000 tons of cargo are handled at this airport. Prince of Songkla University

Prince of Songkla University is the first university in Southern Thailand, established in 1967. The name of the university was granted by His Majesty the King in honor of His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol Adulyadej, Prince of Songkla, the king's father. The university consists of four campuses and one education service area. In 1968, the first permanent campus was established in Pattani.

Hatyai Hospital

Hatyai Hospital is a general hospital in Hat Yai, Songkhla Province, Thailand. A regional hospital under the Ministry of Public Health, it serves as a referral centre for nearby community hospitals mainly within Songkhla, but also in parts of Pattani and Satun Provinces. It nominally has a capacity of 640 beds, but as is often the case with most regional hospitals, faces problems of overcrowding and is over capacity most of the time.
