Chickland

Chickland is a village in the foothills of Central Trinidad, north of the world renowned cocoa growing region Gran Couva and south-east of one of the earliest settlement areas for freed slaves Freeport. Chickland includes the Ajoupa Pottery works that produces intricate and colourful pieces including tables and vanity vases that appear in hotels and villas throughout T&T and the Caribbean.

Ato Boldon Stadium

The Ato Boldon Stadium, located in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago, is named for eight-time Olympic and World Championship medal winner and 1997 200 m World Champion, Ato Boldon. Bonne Aventure is a village in the county of Victoria, Trinidad. It is considered to be part of the larger town of Gasparillo. Piparo

Piparo is a village in Central Trinidad on the southern edge of the Central Range. The village has three main claims to fame: Piparo was the base of operations of Dole Chadee (born Nankissoon Boodram), a notorious drug lord who was executed in 1999 for the murder of four members of the Baboolal family. Piparo was the home of Ras Shorty I (born Garfield Blackman) after his retirement from the calypso world.
