Las Cuevas, Trinidad and Tobago
Along the north road coast lies the scenic Las Cuevas beach. Las Cuevas has 2.2 kilometres of fine grained off white sand bound at either end by "the caves" for which it is named. The majestic El Tucuche peak rises in the background. Two small inns overlook the bay and snack bar, car park, picnicking and changing room facilities are available. Lifeguard services are generally provided from 10:00am to 6:00pm and fresh fish is sold daily.

El Tucuche
El Tucuche (936 m) is the second highest peak in Trinidad's northern range and is noted for its interesting plateau shape. Its summit is home to the Trinidad endemic El Tucuche Golden Tree Frog, found only on El Tucuche and on Trinidad's highest peak El Cerro del Aripo. The lush evergreen forest, found in the mountain of El Tucuche provides home for other wild tropical fauna and flora. At the foot of the mountain lies the village of Loango, home to some 2,000 residents.

Blanchisseuse
Blanchisseuse is a village in Trinidad and Tobago. It is located about midway along the north coast of Trinidad on the northern slope of the Northern Range, about 24 km north of Arima. The village was settled by the French following the Cedula de Pobulación in 1783. When Captain Frederick Mallet was charting and surveying the island of Trinidad following its capitulation to the British in 1797, he was told that the village had no name.

Caura River (Trinidad and Tobago)
The Tacarigua River (commonly known as the Caura River) is a river on the island of Trinidad in the country of Trinidad and Tobago. It originates in the Northern Range and drains the Caura Valley. It passes through the town of Tacarigua in the East-West Corridor before joining the Caroni River. The Caura River is important both recreationally and culturally. Currently the Caura River is at risk to pollution from fertilizers and pesticides used by the farmers within the valley.

Santa Cruz, Trinidad and Tobago
The Santa Cruz Valley stretches between Maraval and San Juan, along the Saddle Road. It lies between the hills of the Northern Range on the island of Trinidad, Trinidad and Tobago. Formerly an important cacao bean producer, much of the valley consists of abandoned cacao plantations or small-scale agriculture. The Santa Cruz Valley is considered prime residential real estate, and many upscale residential developments like Riverside Park, have begun sprouting in the valley.
