Asa Wright Nature Centre

The Asa Wright Nature Centre and Lodge is a nature resort and scientific research station in the Arima Valley of the Northern Range in Trinidad and Tobago. The Centre is one of the top birdwatching spots in the Caribbean; a total of 159 species of birds have been recorded there. The Centre is owned by a non-profit trust.

Lopinot

Lopinot is a village in Trinidad and Tobago. It is located in the foothills of the Northern Range, just north of Arouca. It is governed by the Tunapuna-Piarco Regional Corporation. Lopinot, the area which was named after Charles Joseph Count de Loppinot (1738–1819) is located five and three quarters of a mile from Arouca. Loppinot was a young knight who rose to the rank of Lieutenant-General in the French army.

Northern Range

The Northern Range is the range of tall hills across the northern portion of Trinidad, the major island in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The hills rise abruptly from the lowlands of northern Trinidad, but only the two tallest peaks, El Cerro del Aripo and El Tucuche top 900 m. The south-facing valleys run deep into the hills and support major rivers, while the north-facing valleys are generally short and are drained by smaller streams.

D'Abadie

D'abadie is a suburban community in Trinidad and Tobago. Its Member of Parliament is Anil Roberts. Its estimated population is 26,000 people. Some businesses include Arawak Chicken Factory, D'abadie Discount Hardware Limited, Cedric Dookie Supermarket and PriceSmart Wholesale Club. Some schools include Pinehaven S.D.A. Primary School and D'abadie Government Primary School. One of its attractions is Cleaver Woods, the site of a settlement of remaining indigenous peoples.

Larry Gomes Stadium

The Larry Gomes Stadium, located in Malabar, Arima, Trinidad and Tobago, is named for West Indies cricketer Larry Gomes. The stadium was constructed for the 2001 U-17 World Cup which was hosted by Trinidad and Tobago. It also hosted games from the 2010 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.
