Aydinids

The Aydinids or Aydinid dynasty, also known as the Principality of Aydin and Beylik of Aydin (Aydın Beyliği), was one of the Anatolian beyliks. Its capital was at first in Birgi, and later in Ayasluğ, was one of the frontier principalities established in the 14th century by Oghuz Turks after the decline of Sultanate of Rûm. It is named after its founder Aydınoğlu Mehmed Bey. The Aydinids also held parts of the port of Smyrna all through their rule and all of the port city with intervals.

Turgutalp

Turgutalp is a town in Soma district of Manisa Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:38|11|N|27|35|E||| | |name= }} it is situated to the south of Turkish state highway D.240 and to the west of Soma to which it is almost merged to. The distance to Manisa is 97 kilometres . The population is 9838 of 2011. Turgutalp was founded by Muslim people from present Bulgaria in 1877, during the Russo-Turkish War (1877-1878).
