Independence Monument, Ashgabat
The "Independence Monument" is a monument located in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. The design of this building was inspired by traditional Turkmen tents and the traditional headgear worn by Turkmen girls. Elements of the building commemorate the independence date of Turkmenistan, 27 October 1991. These elements include a 91-meter reinforced concrete tower with a 27-meter high golden gilt steel construction on top of the tower, along with an observation terrace with a diameter of 10 meters.

Olympic Stadium (Ashgabat)
Ashgabat Olympic Stadium (Turkmen: Saparmyrat Türkmenbaşy adyndaky Olimpiýa Stadiony) is a multi-purpose stadium in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. It is currently used mostly for football matches, but also for musical performances by Turkmen pop stars such as Maral Ibragimova. The stadium holds 35,000 people and was built in 2003. Despite the use of the name "Olympic Stadium" the facility was neither built as part of a bid to host the Olympic Games, nor has it been used in such games.
