Zavodske Airfield

Zavodskoe Airport is situated at a distance of 5 kilometres southwest of Simferopol, the capital city of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in southern Ukraine. It was built in 1914 as part of an aircraft factory “Anatra”. It is "D" class unpaved airdrome. It operates during the daylight hours. During times of the Soviet Union, an airline club and a school of civil pilots was established there. Many graduates became Heroes of the Soviet Union.

Lokomotiv Republican Sports Complex

Lokomotiv Stadium (Tavriya) is a multi-purpose stadium in Simferopol, Ukraine. It is currently used mostly for football matches, and is the home of SC Tavriya Simferopol. The stadium holds 19,978 people and was built in 1967 and renovated in 2004. The remarkable is the fact that the stadium was the base stadium during the UEFA Euro 1988 qualifying. The stadium accepted two of the four games of the qualifying campaign with including national teams of Norway and Iceland.

Scythian Neapolis

Scythian Neapolis was a settlement that existed from the end of the 3rd century BC until the second half of the 3rd century AD. The archeological ruins sit on the outskirts of the present-day Simferopol. This city was the center of the Crimean Scythian tribes, led by Skilurus and Palacus (who were probably buried at the local mausoleum). The town ruled over a small kingdom, covering the lands between the lower Dnieper river and Crimea.
