Vyshnivchyk
Vyshnivchyk is a village in the Terebovlya Raion area of the Ternopil Oblast, Ukraine. Located on the western bank of the Strypa river. It neighbours the village of Zarvanytsia. It was founded in 1564 and currently has a population of 627. The village of Vyshnivchyk was part of Austrian Empire (until 1918), then again part of Poland (1918–1939), the Soviet Union (1944–1991) and in 1991,August 23 part of an independent Ukraine.

Battle of Trembowla
The Battle of Trembowla, more popularly known as the Defense of Trembowla, was glorified and immortalized in the paintings of Franciszek Smuglewicz, Józef Peszka and Aleksander Lesser. In 1675 the Turkish army destroyed the town of Trembowla, in the Podole Voivodship, and laid siege to the castle for an entire week. A woman played the decisive role in the garrison's successful stand against the invaders.

Terebovl
Terebovlia (Ukrainian: Теребовля, also Terebovlya, Polish: Trembowla, English: Trembovl) is a small city in the Ternopil Oblast of western Ukraine, and the administrative center of the Terebovlya Raion. In modern medieval English history texts it is usually written Terebovl. The current population As of 2001 census is 13,661. In 1929 there was 7,015 people, mostly Polish, Ukrainian and Jewish.

Budaniv
Budaniv is a village in Ternopil Oblast, Western Ukraine, near Chortkiv, Buchach Raion. Population: 1,634 (2005). The settlement was founded in 1549 on the banks of the Seret River. The village was named after a Polish nobleman, Jakub Budzanowski, Halitz voevode. Mountainous terrain of the region always attracted new settlers and about 1550 a wooden castle was built up on the peak of one of the hills. The castle was rebuilt in the beginning of 17th century.
