Biddulph Moor

Biddulph Moor is a large village located on the hill which bears the same name. It is in Biddulph parish and is a part of the Staffordshire Moorlands district in England. It is very similar to Mow Cop which is located on the other side of the valley of Biddulph. It is semi-rural and is the source of the River Trent.

Master's Edge

The Master's Edge is a rock climb route at Millstone Quarry. Rated E7 6c, it is one of the world's most famous gritstone climbs. The first ascent was made by Ron Fawcett in December 1983.

Mow Cop Castle

Mow Cop Castle is a folly at Mow Cop, near Harriseahead in the county of Staffordshire, England. Traces of a prehistoric camp have been found here, but in 1754, Randle Wilbraham of nearby Rode Hall built an elaborate summerhouse looking like a medieval fortress and round tower. The Castle was given to the National Trust in 1937. The same year over ten thousand Methodists met on the hill to commemorate the first Primitive Methodist Camp Meeting there.

Astbury, Cheshire

Astbury was one of the eight ancient parishes of the Macclesfield Hundred of Cheshire, England. It included two chapelries and ten townships. The chapelry of Congleton was an ancient borough and became a municipal borough in 1835. Under the Poor Law Amendment Act 1886 the townships and chapelries became civil parishes in their own right. Nine of the townships became part of Congleton Rural District in 1894. whereas Eaton became part of Macclesfield Rural District.
