Horsenden

Horsenden is a hamlet in Wycombe district, Buckinghamshire, England and is in the civil parish of Longwick-cum-Ilmer. It is one mile from Princes Risborough and seven miles south of Aylesbury and three miles east of Chinnor in Oxfordshire. The Icknield Way passes just to the north of the village from east to west and the road from High Wycombe passes through the village to meet with this ancient routeway. The name Horsenden is from the Anglo Saxon Horsan-dun and means 'Horsa's hill or valley'.

Saunderton

Saunderton is a village in Buckinghamshire, England. It is located in a valley of the Chiltern Hills, about three and a half miles north west of High Wycombe, four miles south of Princes Risborough. It lies on the main A4010 road, and has a station on the Chiltern Main Line between the two towns. The village name is Anglo Saxon in origin, although its original meaning is unclear.

Sir Charles Napier Inn

The Sir Charles Napier Inn (commonly known as the Sir Charles Napier or simply the Charles Napier) is a gastropub in Spriggs Alley about 1.5 miles south of Chinnor, Oxfordshire, England. It was built in the 18th century and is named after Sir Charles Napier. As of 2002 its proprietor for 35 years had been Julie Griffiths. Wine journalist Jancis Robinson has considered it to be one of several country pubs that has "outshone" city pubs.
