Keswick School of Industrial Art
Keswick School of Industrial Art (KSIA) was founded in 1884 by Canon Hardwicke Rawnsley and his wife Edith as an evening class of repoussé metalwork in the Crosthwaite Parish Rooms, just outside Keswick, Cumbria. The building was designed by the Lancaster architects Paley, Austin and Paley at an estimated cost of £1,300. Rawnsley was a defender of the Lake District, and a friend of John Ruskin and Beatrix Potter. His art and writings laid the foundation of the Arts and Crafts movement.

B5289 road
The B5289 is a road in the Lake District, England. It lies in the county of Cumbria, and is an important traffic artery in the Lake District. The road starts in Keswick and passes alongside Derwent Water. At the southern end of the lake it enters Borrowdale, passing the settlements of Grange, Rosthwaite and Seatoller. This stretch of road is notable for its views of the surrounding fells, including Catbells and Glaramara. At Seatoller, the road starts its climb up to Honister Pass.

Theatre by the Lake
Theatre by the Lake in Keswick, Cumbria, England is situated on the shores of Derwentwater in the Lake District. It opened in 1999, replacing the old Blue Box Touring Theatre, and was made possible by an Arts Council Lottery Fund Grant. The resident professional company offers a year-round programme of their own productions in Repertoire (theatre) - a summer season of six plays, a Christmas show and a Spring/Easter production.
