Artigarvan

Artigarvan is a village and townland in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It is 3 miles from Strabane and 4 miles from Dunnamanagh, within the Strabane District Council area. It is called Airtigarvan in Ulster-Scots. TMC Dairies is located in Artigarvan, having previously been known as Leckpatrick Creamery. In July 2011 an Ulster Volunteer Force flag was removed from Artigarvan without prior consultation with the local community by the Police Service of Northern Ireland.

Ballymagorry

Ballymagorry or Ballymagory is a small village and townland in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It is west of Artigarvan and 5 kilometres north of Strabane. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 565. It lies within the Strabane District Council area.

Glenmornan

Glenmornan (from Irish: Gleann Mórnáin) is a hamlet in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It is in the townland of Brownhill, northeast of Strabane and southeast of Artigarvan. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 7800 people. Glenmornan is in the Strabane District Council area. The mayor of Glenmornan is Ronan Parker. He thinks he can play Gaelic along with someone who calls themselves a bear. That is what the people of Glenmornan have to deal with.

Owen Roes O'Neills GAC

Owen Roes O'Neills (Irish: Eoghan Rua Uí Néill) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club. The club is based in the village of Glenmornan, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The local community helps maintain the clubs grounds voluntarily. The success of the club wouldn't be possible without the community. The club concentrates on Gaelic football with Ladies Gaelic football also provided for. They have many different Under Age teams reaching 5 different Finals in 2010.

Strabane Canal

The Strabane Canal is a short (four mile) canal in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It connected the market town of Strabane to the navigable River Foyle and thence to the port of Londonderry on the north coast of Ireland. The canal opened in 1796 and closed in 1962.
