West Loch Lomond Cycle Path

The West Loch Lomond Cycle Path is a cycle path that runs from Arrochar and Tarbet railway station, at the upper end of Loch Lomond in Scotland, to Balloch railway station, at the bottom of the loch. It was officially opened on 2006-06-20 by Tavish Scott. The path is about 28 kilometers long and runs along the west bank of Loch Lomond, between the west bank of the loch and the busy A82 road. It is mainly flat or downhill if ridden from south to north.

Beinn Narnain

Beinn Narnain (sometimes anglicised as Ben Narnain) is a mountain in the southern Highlands of Scotland, near Arrochar. It forms part of a group of hills known (un-officially) as the Arrochar Alps, and is a Munro. The name Beinn Narnain means "hill of notches", and describes the mountain's notched profile. Beinn Narnain is usually climbed from Succoth at the head of Loch Long.

DM Glen Douglas

DM Glen Douglas is a NATO defence munitions depot in Argyll and Bute, Scotland, built between 1962 and 1966. As of 1989, it served NATO as a pre-positioned wartime ammunition depot, storing around 40,000 tons of missiles, depth charges, and conventional shells. It is now used only by the UK. The depot lies in Glen Douglas, a six-mile (10 km) glen through which the Douglas Water flows east to Loch Lomond. The depot itself is near the glen's head, less than a mile from Loch Long.
