Lochgoilhead

Lochgoilhead (Scottish Gaelic: Ceann Loch Goibhle) is a small village of some 300-400 people in the Scottish Highlands in Argyll, Scotland. The main employment spheres include tourism, agriculture, and forestry. There are two outdoor education centres in the village, The Lochgoilhead National Activity Centre and Ardroy Outdoor Education Centre. Tourism more than doubles the village population during the summer months. Two single-track roads both lead in and out of the village.

Cnoc Coinnich

Cnoc Coinnich is a Graham situated on the Ardgoil Peninsula in the Argyll & Bute council region and forms part of the Arrochar Alps. A Graham is the term used to define a Scottish mountain between 611 and 761 metres (2,000 and 2,499 feet) in height. At 761 metres (2496 feet) Cnoc Coinnich misses out on being classed as a Corbett by a solitary metre.

Ben Donich

Ben Donich or Beinn Dòmhnaich is a mountain located in the Arrochar Alps, near Loch Goil in Argyll and Bute. It is a Corbett and part of the Ardgoil range with its sister The Brack. Ben Donich's nearest town is Lochgoilhead. At 847 metres Ben Donich, is the highest mountain on the Ardgoil peninsula. It is a fairly extensive mountain, essentially a square pyramid with its summit at the centre of four ridges.

Loch Goil

Loch Goil is a small sea loch in Scotland. It is an arm of Loch Long. The village of Lochgoilhead stands at its head. Located in the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, Lochgoilhead sits at the head of Loch Goil, a fjord type sea loch. Only an hour from the Erskine Bridge, Glasgow Airport the M8 and Glasgow. The village is accessed from the Rest & Be Thankful pass by way of a 6 miles single-track road.

The Brack

The Brack is a mountain, located in the Arrochar Alps, on the south side of Glen Croe, near Loch Goil in Argyll and Bute in Scotland. The Brack has two summits: the lower peak, Cruach Fhiarach, can be seen from the shores of Loch Long, and the main peak is seen from Glen Croe and Loch Goil. The Brack is in the Ardgoil range, which is located on a peninsula bounded on the west by Loch Goil and Loch Long on the east, both lochs being arms of the Firth of Clyde.
