Loch Morar
Loch Morar is a freshwater loch in Morar, Lochaber, Highland, Scotland. It is the fifth-largest loch in Scotland, with a surface area of 26.7 km and the deepest freshwater body in the British Isles, with a maximum depth of 1,017 ft it is deeper than the height The Shard in London. Loch Morar is of glacial origin with very steep sides and a length of 19 km . It contains five sizeable islands. The only road along the loch extends no more than four miles (6 km) along the north shore.

The area is famous for its wildness and inaccessibility and remains very sparsely populated.

Loch Eilt is a loch in Lochaber, in the West Highlands of Scotland. It is between the villages of Glenfinnan and Lochailort, 30 km west of Fort William. The A830 road runs along the north shore, while the West Highland Line railway follows the south shore. Loch Eilt separates the traditional districts of Morar, to the north, and Moidart, to the south.
